Description
This comprehensive course incorporates close up demonstration on the 23 common
conditions treated in the chiropractic office including carpel tunnel syndrome, sciatica,
frozen shoulder, disc injuries, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Tennis & Golf elbow, Morton's
neuroma, fibromyalgia to name a few. The course begins with an in-depth presentation of
the history and physics of lasers, and takes you step-by-step through the multitude of
biological responses to laser therapy, the medical applications of laser therapy,
contraindications, how to use therapeutic lasers, legal concerns, and expected results
from appropriate use of laser therapy as a modality. This course was designed to educate
chiropractors on the science, application, management and treatment of common
chiropractic conditions when using Low Laser Therapy ("Cold" Laser Therapy).
Includes 3 hours of actual practical instruction demonstrating cold laser therapy treatment of various conditions covering the entire body.

Instructor
As the Photobiologist and Director of Science for Innovative Medical
Group, Mr. Martin has over 25 years experience in medicine, medical
devices and medical business management. Mr. Martin holds a
bachelor’s degree in biological science with advanced studies in
physics and microbiology and is a published author and educator
. He has taught laser physics for 9 years and
is a certified instructor in paramedical sciences and laser therapy. Mr. Martin has
developed comprehensive treatment programs for treating chronic pain syndromes such
as fibromyalgia, myofascial pain and RSD
. Mr. Martin has had top level managerial responsibility for the construction,
operation and growth of bio-medical organizations involved in medical device
development, manufacturing and medical research,
specializing in laser
therapy, wound care and pain management
for multiple pain management clinics in
Nevada
for the last 8 years.
